This fair stand design was made for Stockholm Furniture Fair 2012 and exhibits seating furniture made by students at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design. The fundamental value of our concept was to signal progressivity and thereby promote the school as one of the most innovative in its field - rather creating something interesting than something pretty.

The furniture at the fair stand is built by the designers themselves, and therefore the process from concept to product is exceptionally pure - unaffected by demands from industry. The design of the fair stand therefore exhibits the furniture as raw materials (råstof), making a parallel between the export of Danish design furniture and Danish pork. The young innovative designers are delivering new bacon. On the stand, we are therefore at the butchers. Here it is simply fresh design hanging on the meat hooks.

The design of the shown press material, hangtags and stickers was also a part of this project.

I acted as project manager. Everything is designed and made in cooperation with Mads Sætter-Lassen, Emil Krøyer, Celina Rolmar, Mathias Wiik and Sanna Movafagh.
