VANS CLASSIC LITES 1st Launch

VANS找到我们,希望为他们的全新产品Classic lites制作一些非常有趣的内容。这双鞋外表看上去和VANS经典款Authentic一摸一样。但当拿在手上时,会意外的觉得非常轻盈。所以我们当下就决定用非常意外的方式,作为创意起点。同时也要非常VANS,不是风格上像VANS,而是用OFF THE WALL的方式,荒诞,本能,即兴的。

Vans reached out to us in need of some interesting contents for their newly launched Classic Lites line. The pair shares the same look as the classic Authentic on first glance but feels surprisingly light in the hand. We immediately decided on using a very unorthodox method as the starting point for our creative idea.  At the same time, it needs to be 'VANS'. Not in terms of its style, but in the spirit of 'OFF THE WALL': absurd, instinctive, and improvised.
我们采用了棚内拍摄和3D合成的方式,去实现天马行空的想法。

We integrate 3D animation with live action to make our crazy ideas comes to life.
The campaign received immense response. 

#1 The Godzilla
我们总共想了8个idea,每个idea都有"普通版"和"异变版",VANS最终选用了其中4个,所以总共我们做了8条视频。
每个视频都控制在正好10秒,正方形。这样就很容易在各种社交平台上使用。

We came up with 8 ideas. Each idea has a Normal Version, and a Radical Version. Vans picked 5 of those which we made into 10 videos.
Each video is exactly 10 seconds long, with an aspect ratio of 1:1 which are considered most appropriate for social media.

没有任何电视和硬广,这次仅仅在社交媒体的广告,帮助这双鞋卖的超棒,一周内就全部售罄了。

With out any TVC and traditional advertising ,Only in SNS, Classic Lites got sold out within merely one week of its launch.
