Grand Fromage is the most specialized cheesemonger in Denmark. The company is a fruit of labor of the Lindbjerg family, with boutique shops in two largest cities in Denmark and a broad wholesale network of renowned restaurants.
At the helm of the company is Thomas Lindbjerg, who has a great experience in artisanal cheesemaking and maturing, gathered during his residency in France and numerous journeys in the cheese producing regions of Europe. The art of cheese aging, called affinage, plays a central role in creating a distinctive taste of Grand Fromage.
In our collaboration with Grand Fromage, we’ve created a marketing campaign imagery tailored to their needs. Inspired by the Dutch and Flemish masters of still life we went beyond traditional advertising photography, aspiring for something as uncompromising as the quality that is the trademark of Grand Fromage. On our quest to capture the essence of their exclusive, luxurious, delectable image, and to bring forward the uniqueness and the outstanding features of the products, we’ve played with light and shadow, as well as composition.
