We were approached by an enthusiastic couple looking to start their own 'Kiwi' inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Rotorua, New Zealand. The brief was to create a brand identity, signage, menus, collateral and website around the name 'The Kurious Kiwi'. We soon developed a quirky story using classic New Zealand language around the iconic Kiwi bird we all love and know. The brand is very 'kiwi' inspired (in both senses of the word), using native New Zealand ferns and animals to create a strong design that translates well onto signage and collateral.
