Black Skin White Masks

Frantz Fanon
For this project, I try to capture a space of memory, politics, lifestyle, mission, of my activist Frantz Fanon. Fanon was born in 1925 and died in 1962. He was a Martinique-born French-Algerian psychiatrist, philosopher, revolutionary and writer whose work is influential in the fields of post-colonial studies, critical theory and Marxism. Fanon is known as a radical existential humanist thinker on the issue of decolonization and the psychopathology of colonization. I need to consider how repeating themes of philosophy’s, gender, the times influenced this activist are there themes or structure that can translated typographically. The process of designing this document should reflect the process of construction, much in the same way an architect designs a building or a choreographer creates a dance.
