Phoenix is Clark College’s Arts and Literary Publication. All the artwork and literature is student submitted and chosen by professors and the publication staff. I worked with a team to design this 2011 edition. As part of the staff, I worked with literary groups to design poetry and story spreads, edited and processed images of artwork for print, selected artwork for publication, and created cover designs and layouts. We chose to pursue two color signatures for the literary spreads and full color for the artwork. The overall feel of the publication was hand crafted.
