AgitPOP GALOSHA
Cultural Terrorism

Galosha is a solution to create a new space in which the audience would meet young artists who are not yet involved in conventional cultural flows (because they will not, or may not even know how). Or even more precisely - the takeover of an already existing space in which the most diverse potential audience spends time - it already exists - an audience that does not know how to become part of the cultural event.

In the style of revolutionary cultural and artistic practices (sixty-sixth actionism of Guy Debord and Agitprop propaganda of the twenties), we designed an action - terrorist action - a cultural terrorist action: we decided to introduce cultural terrorism to Belgrade.

The idea is to raise the awareness of the local population on the issues we deal with (culture, art, social and private life, heritage, politics ...); relation to everyday life, environment-environment-society ... Culture is a need of every man. The prejudice is that the poor do not want it and that the rich despise it. It goes from man to man and everywhere.

We took a black truck, AGITPOP GALOSHA to the places around us. We brought music to a spaces in which people have other needs and we gave it because it can not be bought there, or anywhere.

Breaking the frame in which things are happening is a definition of a revolution.
