The Six Things You're Not Supposed to Talk About
Book Design for an episode of This American Life
For this project, we were asked to choose one episode from the podcast series This American Life and design a book based on it. The episode I chose is called The six things you’re not supposed to talk about. There are six stories based on the six topics raised in the podcast episode, so I made a custom-bound book, combining six saddle stitch booklets. To convey the idea of different topics. I used different color palettes for each book and but kept the cover black and white. In addition, I used contrasting colors and symbolic elements for the book.
