This project was based on the idea of borrowing elements from the past and combining them with contemporary ideas to create something entirely new. My collection consists of a number of idiosyncratic earthenware and porcelain beakers inspired by Wedgwood's 17th century Agateware.  

Each of my pieces has a pentagon base and a user friendly rounded top, as functionality and comfort was a huge focus of mine during this project.

I added elements of rose gold lustre to my beakers in order to bring my collection together and add a touch of glamour to my final pieces.
