PXD / Capital One Cafe Experience Pod
The Capital One Cafe group wanted to create storytelling moments to connect with the customer and celebrate the community. The concept was to create a space where the customer could explore new forms of tech storytelling and feel inspired by their community. This experience would also create a platform for the C1 Ambassadors to engage in conversation with the guest.

We had the challenge of creating a design that would fit in with the existing Cafe aesthetic, be portable (needed to be shipped and installed at various cafes), fit through a 3' door opening, easily transported and set up by an Ambassador, and have the ability to have updatable tech and graphics.
Typical VR experience has the experiencer exposed and vulnerable. The Cafe team found people did not want to be out in the open so much.

fun little model to I made to explore the interaction
To scale quick model to explore the size and the sense of enclosure/privacy. I also sketched (for placement only) graphics to mimic the local artist we were planning on featuring in the VR story.
