Thursday 16th November 2017 - Norwich Street Photography Day
This was one of those "The Weather Guy got it wrong" days. It's frustrating if you only have time to go shooting on one day of the week and you listen out to the forecast for those magic words ... "Dry, Bright & Overcast". In fact, what we got was stark sunshine until 1pm and then drizzle gloom from then onward.
I don't like shooting in direct light. Firstly it limits you to where you can go, half the city will be starkly back-lit and pictures will be washed out by the glare. Secondly, the subjects that are actually in the sunlight will be shielding their eyes, either by lowering their heads or squinting ... not good for portraits.
But anyways, as usual, once you're in the city, you have to shoot the street in front of you ... so here's what I managed to scrape together. They have nice elements, but no big money shot that I can see.
Sorry :(
