This project is building up to form the main concern of my 3rd year design work. 
The main theme is embedded in the idea of 'Fractured Cities'. My personal interpretation of this is still being developed, yet the work you will see below represents the starting point of my concept.
The project shall be taking place in Leeds, looking to find a solution for the striking gap caused by the rapid change in the cities fabric, the change from an industry based city, to a financial center and, nonetheless, a strong academic center in the UK. The metaphor of this change finds its roots in one of the emblematic industries of the city: Clock making. Time is of the essence, both is physical and platonic form.
