The Edge Poster
Overview
The EDGE is an annual faith-based conference for middle school and high school students.
Challenge
We were asked to create a poster for their 2013 gathering that would attract the youthful audience who would be attending the event. The poster would serve as the creative direction for other materials used for the conference.
Solution
Through researching their past posters, we found that they were trying to visually communicate their ideas as "edgy" to coincide with their name. Unfortunately, this concept was not accomplished previously due to dated grunge textures and poor typography. While remaining aware of current trends, we created a design that visually communicated a physical edge. The dimensional illustration provides a dynamic venue for presenting all of the pertinent information about the event in an engaging way.
