AKI Japanese Restaurant

I am establishing a Japanese Restaurant, only open in the evenings starting around 5pm with a lounge opening at 10pm. During the regular restaurant hours there will be a dinner menu including starters and entrees of Sashimi, Roast Duck, Various Miso Soups, Braised Black Cod. During the evening when the lounge opens, dinner will stop and there will be a bar menu along with drinks served at the bar. The menu will be shorter with mostly appetizers like Tempura Calamai Salad, Wagyu Beer Carpaccio, and Beef Curry Bread.

The restaurant would have minimal lighting, with dark stained wooden tables and upholstered booths running along the walls of the restaurant. The ambiance would be friendly and inviting and during the later evening, would become more exciting and busy from people mingling both in the restaurant and the lounge (which would be a bit separated from the restaurant by a little stairway). Large windows will create more of an open feeling. There will be flat seats and couches in the lounge, matching the upholstery of the booths.

Noticing many restaurants in the evening serve food that is quick and easy to prepare and serve, this Japanese restaurant would make sure that every meal was cooked to perfection.
