An illustration I did of a fox inspired by the kitsune statues of Fushimi Inari Taisha. Foxes are often regarded as the messengers of the deity Inari Okami and are adorned with votive bibs as a sign of respect. It's also common for worshippers to offer fried tofu to the fox spirits.
