Stitch Up
We all get stitched up one way or another, tricked, deceived, fooled, our lives are full of illusions. I'm transformation of found objects by pinching, weaving, stuffing and sewing betrays an ongoing fascination with the many ways in which our cultures condition everything into some kind of alleged false identity. Informed by a dialectic of opposites, nature and culture, instinct and reason, innocence and corruption, I'm beguiling artworks become the evidence in an open- ended investigation, resulting in a show trial to which you are invited to be the judge.
