The patterns were inspired by ethic textiles wore by hilltribe people in Southern Thailand which was created under the influence of Burmese tradition. By applying natural element into geomatric pattern, the textiles has unique characteristic and also reflected tribal people's surroundings and story of life. However, the hilltribe people intended to use those textiles as their everyday clothes than develop into design-based objects. Therefore, I created my own textiles based on tribal characteristic, the patterns have been adjusted to be more contemporary but remained original color in vivid tone which shown specific color vision from people in tropical area
