As the days went by, a dog hotel from Algarve received questions like “Do you have also accommodation for cats?”. The “Yes” would arrive by the end of 2016 and this is how Hotel do Gato (Cat Hotel) came about.
RECAPU was working on its second video. The first one was a testimonial video with the first client and this would be a creative video about the quality accommodation and specialized team. The story would happen in 3030 and a cat would tell a history of the past about a special place where the cats went when their “servants” (owners) were on vacation.
When RECAPU shared with me the video, I felt it could be better. The scenario of 3030 was not futuristic or even contemporary and the cat was reading a book (So vintage!). Besides that, the vignette effect, dust and scratches in the scenes of the past, 2017, disvalued the high quality of videos at the moment. In addition, the logo appeared as white in a black background at the end of the video.
They listened my comments and my challenges for this project would be to distinguish better the future from the past, tell the history of the past with a child style and show the logo and the contacts in an interesting way.
