Hockenheimring is an automobile racing track located in the town of Hockenheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Amongst other motor racing events, it holds the annual Formula 1 German Grand Prix in turns with the Nürburgring track.

The German aesthetic is present in the bold, hard lines of the logo. An abstract “H” is tilted at a 45 degree angle to imply motion. This idea of angles and motion is present throughout all environmental signage. The ticket was redesigned with the new branding and with the addition of a QR code. This enables fans to scan their tickets with their mobile device which will then take them straight to the Hockenheimring web site or iPhone application, where they can get up to date information about race statistics, merchandise, etc.
