I have an obsession of the universe and its wonders. In looking into gigantic telescopes to see a far away planet, I have created my own planets on earth. These planets, stars are actually everyday material seen in cars and on the streets. A little bit of imagination and open mindedness is all you need.
The spherical shape is made from butting two lens (28 mm and 50 mm) together to create a macro lens effect. The types of materials give different moods and shape to create a mystical far away land or a deep underwater creature.
The photographs were created for the play/emotional assignment at Ohio University Fall 2012.
