AIM WEBSITE AND BRANDING

Aurora Integrative Medical (AIM)
Branding and Website for a Naturopathic Clinic

From a Branding perspective, AIM wanted their logo to convey the warmth, compassion, and dedication they have as doctors who practice Natural Wholistic Healing On the Westcoast of Canada. One of the stakeholders requested that imagery of a Ginko Tree be incorporated into the branding because it's connection with her late mentor. From a user interface perspective, the business objectives were to inform and excite potential clientele about AIM's service offerings and crudentials, tell a story, promote packages and services, and make it easy for their existing clients to book appointments and keep informed on the latest news for the clinic. The Website would also assist from a staff augmentation perspective by deflecting calls to the office, and answer FAQ.
Website Design

The overall look and feel is serene and welcoming. Contrasting free flowing iconography and shapes combined with strong lines unify the logo and content and create a feeling of motion. A good amount of white space around elements creates page focus and balance. Buttons were designed and standardized for primary, secondary and tertiary calls to action.
The homepage Hero area uses iconography and Typography for visual interest and differentiation from competition who seems to overuse stock photography.
The "Topics" surface pertinent content by using subjects that relate to specific programs, services, labs or blog entries. Because we can't have all subjects living in the navigation this is a way for users to quickly find subjects that interest them. When the topic is selected the user is taken to a page that lists all programs, services, labs or blogs that relate to the subject. This addresses that fact that some users may not know where to look for the topic of interest.
The Details Page contains local navigation that is prominent and conventional. The Content area is a comfortable width so that users are not overwhelmed with too much text. The content contains inline text links for any words that relate to another details page within the site.
