Jardine Works
Website and Branding
Jardine works is a full service technology company who specialize in custom built applications, Liferay and Drupal. Because Technology can be a complex subject we wanted the branding to be clean, cohesive and creative. The cog in the logo conceptually communicates Jardine Works as being the small cog in the big wheel of a project which makes all the moving parts work together towards a successful delivery.

Inspiration: Steam punk illustrations combined with solution architecture diagrams.
Homepage: Evocative of an Architecture diagram, the home page clearly displays all the website's top level categories framing the Hero Area's Carousel messaging. Typographical treatments using contrasting colors and sizes combined with a grid line textured background add visual interest to the page.

Homepage2: Secondary Categories are disclosed upon hovering over top-level categories to create a straightforward user experience without cluttering the page with too much information.

Lower promotional area surfaces relevant topics for user's to quickly link to desired content, featured projects, and Blog Posts.

For user convenience combined with SEO the fat footer is essentially a sitemap, and integrates social media functionality.
Client login is activated on hover to save users from clicking through to a login page.
Landing pages feature a dynamic main navigation that users can expand to disclose all categories. Iconography was created for each page category to add visual interest.

On this screen  the user has clicked "menu" button at the top of the screen to expand and disclose the top level navigational categories.

There is also a local navigation with sub-categories that can be minimized and expanded in the left page column.
On hover top level navigation reveals any subcategories in the form of a drop-down menu and also a client login form.
