Mosaic Charter School Identity || Process Book

Mosaic Charter School Identity
This is an insight into my creative method through the process book for my undergraduate thesis project. I designed the identity for a charter school, and documented the weekly progress in this hand made, Japanese fold, hard bound book.
Suplemental Information. Each week that had additional images and research has a saddle stitched booklet that is attached to the fold in each spread with elastic so that it can be easily removed and explored. Example bellow.
Documentation of the first semester mock up of this book.
Throughout the second semester, our thesis class decided to start designing motivational posters on the side, to help ease the stress a little. My contribution was a reference to one of my favorite science fiction novels, and Big Brother has an absolutely freakish resemblance to my thesis professor Lewis when the goatee is added.
From this point we see the extensive exploration into Venn diagram representations, which became the most effective way to symbolize the mission of the charter school.
On the right hand side of the picture bellow we see the first attempts at what became the final logo. The following is the evolution of that logo, and documentation of the the roughs and finals of all the applications of the logo, which can also be seen in the Mosaic Charter School Identity Project in my portfolio.
