For the 2009 AIGA San Francisco Fall Gala, the theme was to design a skate deck for the fundraiser. This was my design. It features an ancient door knocker I photographed on a trip to China, juxtaposed with a blue morphos butterfly taken at the California Academy of Sciences. The racing stripes, text and background were added digitally.
