Supercontractor is an USA based company that helps construction businesses with websites, SEO, and digital marketing solutions.
The client wanted their new logo to project integrity, trustworthiness, simplicity, and “one call does it all” feel.
So, right after I studied the client's creative brief I moved to ideation and thumbnailing phase where I was trying to capture any possible concept. This is usually an exploratory process so I'm trying to generate as many variants as possible.

Depending on the project I might present up to 3 working concepts to spot one direction to work further on. Sometimes it would be just one initial logo concept, it all differs from project to project. So, I offered 3 possible visual solutions this time and the client chose one.
The custom logo mark represents iconic graphics of the abstract three-dimensional letterforms S (for Super) and C (for Contractor) that remind building or some sort of architectural forms thus referring to construction industry.
As a graphic designer, and particularly logo designer, I know that I'm not only providing my client with graphics but with a certain solution of their branding problem. So along with a primary exclusive logo design, I also developed 3 additional original logo variations (solid, segmented, and wireframe) which can be used depending on the media and situation. The primary version will be used on device screens and in colour printing, while three other simpler versions can be used when only monochrome printing is available, for hot foiling, blind impressions. The modular format of the logo allows using the icon on its own without a text. Thus it can be used as favicon, app icon, or just icon for whatever purposes.
Supercontractor professional logotype comprises of logomark and logo text. The text represents aligned to the grid vertically stacked words “Super Contractor” all capital letters. Logomark and logo text are aligned to the grid with the width of a letter vertical stroke as a measurement unit.
