Middle school Social Studies research

Poster of research conclusions
Researching middle school Social Studies with five other graduate students (who looked at content standards, students, teachers, and setting), I audited current resources available for the subject. By measuring the resources against the Department of Labor's 21st Century Skills, it became apparent that most student resources support content delivery over facilitating participatory interactions and developing personal qualities.
This research informed the subsequent design of the Social Studies interactive prototype.
