Iphone & Ipad Mini Email
After the launch of the Iphone7, this email was created to promote a stellar deal on the Ipad Mini, when a customer bought one in conjunction with an Iphone.
The client was a bit worried about having an email with a black background and if it would effect performance. We proposed and A/B test for the design to see how a black background vs. a white background performed.
Emails featuring a well-thought-out animation tend to perform better than emails without it. The animation uses motion to visually show the two devices coming together to form one great deal.
The majority of consumers are opening emails on their smartphone, so having a responsive email that looks good on all devices is a must with email marketing.
This is a side by side comparison of the black vs. white version of the email design. In the end, the testing results showed no significant difference between emails with either a black or white background.
