BESSOU is a Japanese homestyle restaurant with a creative take on everyday Japanese comfort cooking. Nestled in the Noho neighborhood of downtown Manhattan, the charming little hideaway is a true reflection of it’s name — a home away from home. FAREWELL used playful type inspired abstract shapes, Japanese nature prints, a vibrant indigo blue and subtle type treatment to craft an inviting online presence for the restaurant that also serves as owner Maiko Kyogoku’s online invitation to share in her family’s food traditions and childhood memories.
