THE PICKLE PROJECT

We have used the devil/angel skull & crossbones motif (GoodPickle/BadPickle) as part of our identity since 2004. The original idea came from the name of Limepickle being an acquired taste - like Marmite - that you either love or hate. This fed into the duality of good and evil that appealed to us, being lapsed catholics and all. Anyway, as we are about to launch our clothing line based upon these two skull and crossbones motifs, we thought it would be fun to see how far we could take the illustration using pop culture references but with the challenge of not changing the main lines and proportions of the skull, mouth, eyes, and bones. We will continue to add to this series, but for a start - here's the first 30. It's all for fun so don't get your knickers in a twist. Designed by Jenksy and Trusa.
