Sometimes projects don't move forward. That doesn't mean they aren't valuable. Take Gran Caffe L'Aquila for example. They engaged us to design the identity for the transplant award winning restaurant from Italy to Philadelphia. We presented several rounds of concepts that built upon the iconic identity of the town but giving it a much more contemporary slant. We were purposely trying to avoid to the expected 'Italian' flavored approach. For whatever reason the project never moved forward, but we still think we did a great job on the identity.
