The Wire - Web Design for WCCOTV
The WCCO Wire is an interactive 3 day time line and a way for WCCO employees to interact with the local community. Content ranges from developing stories that we are looking for feedback on, information categories like news or buzz, user submitted stories, a twitter feed, and events that are coming up that day. I was the sole designer on this project at worked closely with the news, new media department - but this is the first website that WCCO has ever created on their own and I was working without development support for most of the project. Later Sierra Bravo (now the Nerdery) was brought in and they did all of the development. This is a beta site (launched in May 2010) - with much work still to be done...
