The Voter ID Project utilizes accessibility and self-expressive qualities of the sticker medium along with social media for U.S. student voters to share how they define themselves as a voter. Declaring a Voter ID is a simple and decisive act of self-identification apart from campaign rhetoric, party affiliation, or state-mandated voter ID policy. Participants write on their sticker a few words that describe them as a voter, then take a picture of their sticker and post it to Instagram and Twitter tagging @rights2vote and the hashtag #voterid.

During my voter registration drives 116 stickers were completed and displayed on table-top signs.
