Lissitzsky, The Book & Warde, The Crystal Goblet
The challenge of this assignment was to choose two different given essays out of five and form one book. The two essays are Lissitzsky’s essay, The Book and Beatrice Warde’s essay, The Crystal Goblet. To differentiate both of the essays, I chose two different colors, Lissitzsky, orange and Warde, blue. Another way to make a visible separation was since Lissitzsky’s essay was significantly longer, it would have two columns while Warde’s essay was given one column. One more clear distinction was both essays began on opposite sides, and once one essay was read you are able to flip it over and continue with the other essay.
