This project was about a new approachto a book cover that I had designed in an earlier project.
My idea was to show depth and shadow with a pureness effect. Thistheme is connected to the twilight saga, and one of the maincharacters ‘Bella’ . The imagery portrays her in the woodslooking at the image of her future self as a vampire in the mirror.The contrast of the red in the pure white setting shows a whole newdimension that awaits.
I created a scene in the woods with the use of installations togive a eerie feel. I photographed different scene settings for mood andcontrast of choice. For the second part of the project I recreatedthe wood scene with the imagery style of paper cutout art. I lovedthe simplicity of this technique and have expanded on this style
inother projects.
