Bealtaine Festival:
Every year in May the Bealtaine festival gets under way and celebrates creativity as we age. Bealtaine is an Age & Opportunity initiative part-funded by the Arts Council and delivered by hundreds of organisations around the country.
During my Internship for the Co. Donegal Library Service , I designed the Bealtaine brochure for 2013.
I did a range of water-colours that related to creativity and events that Bealtaine was running. The theme for 2013 was grow happy, with this in mind, I created two background images for the content of the booklet. One was flowers and the other was butterflies.
