The hanging columns turned out so great and created a huge impact, but getting them into the high rafters was a challenge!  Turned out, we didn't have access to ladders.  

The signs were created by the students for the dance, but I created the arch as a transition into the dance hall.  

I built four hanging columns and a hanging centerpiece.  All were tied together with tulle for effect. 

These frameless, stand-alone columns are completely air-filled. 

The air-filled columns are made with 11" balloon bases, 640Q uprights, 11" collars and curly 260Q's and a 36" Snowflake topper.  

Closeup of the centerpiece.  It's made with 11" snowflake topped balloons stuffed into 24" clear balloons followed by a layer of 11" silver snowflake balloons.  Three Mylar snowflakes are tied together with 5" silver-blue collars. 

The Snowflake Arch is completely air-filled.
