Graduation project dedicated to the year of the Netherlands in Russia
Every year Russia has a cultural exchange program with one of the countries of the world. In 2013 it was The Netherlands. I have been thinking about different ways to attract public to visit events of the exchange program and came to conclusion that stereotypes can worj in this situation. That is why I designed 16 symbols of The Netherlands, most stereotypical ones - bikes, tulips, mills, cows, football team, trams, boats and medieval houses. I also looked for most used dutch words, names of cities and surnames of famous dutch people.
In the end I combined everything I found during my research and designed a series of posters, postcards, a leaflet and a couple of clothig souvenirs.
