Blind Bettie's Famous 'Shine is a brand of distilled moonshine produced in Argillite, Kentucky. The brand is a combination of home brewed moonshine and gourmet cocktail mixes an features plain and flavored moonshine, cocktail mixes, and rimming sugar for cocktails as well as accessories such as coasters and drink stirrers. The logo for the brand is based off of a traditional American quilt square that would be used on the Underground railroad to indicate safe conditions for travelers. In the logo, the significance of the quilt square is that the proprietor of the company would place a quilt of her porch signifying a fresh batch of moonshine that was available for purchase. The labels feature hand stitched elements and the packaging is appropriated form traditional clay jugs that would be used for moonshine distribution.
