This is a concept we worked on for therevolution.com, which aims to build tools that help musicians promote their music. Users can create players containing multiple playlists and then embed those players into their website or blog page in an effort to help promote their favorite artists.
When the music player is static or in play mode, the users sees a minimal interface with only the album cover of the song and a scrub bar.
When the user scrolls over the music player, the interface changes and the controls are displayed. In addition to the traditional music player controls, users can also purchase the song being played (if available), visit the artist's store, view the full playlist, or see the profile of the user who created the player.
