UI design for Science Direct RSS iPad Reader
This is an iPad concept for the ScienceDirect Apps for Science competition. Using the Science Direct database, this iPad app pulls in articles from scientific journals and allows doctors and researchers to view them in more of an RSS reader environment. Users can select specific journals, keywords, or authors to follow and the app will alert them when new articles have been published under those criteria. The app displays the articles in a simple easy-to-read format.
These designs are from the early stages, but I plan to continue working on the interface mostly just for kicks. Hope to add more editing capabilities so users can highlight, add notes and bookmark specific pages.

Lots of areas in the app for readers to quickly add keywords, authors, and specific journals to their Feed. Users can access their feed through the drawer.
