Our recruiting team hosted a dinner for partners and friends at a national conference. They wanted to share information on new programs and strategic goals, so they requested a brochure. Instead, I suggested they give guests a gift "wrapped" in the message.
The goal was simple: make guests feel special with the gift (in this case, biscotti from Florence, Italy), but package it in a way the reinforced the evening's keynote address. It was a creative way to manage the relationship and convey a message with impact.
