The Schunk Group consists of four companies, each highly focussed on a very specific manufacturing process. The Group needed a key visual that unified these companies in a graphic way. To show the technology, synergy and combined strength of the 8.000 employees, we created a tool that mimics the flocking behavior of birds, while maintaining a digital and futuristic look. This tool was then used to create dynamic images and animations for the event.
The animated visual for the World Meeting 2016. Up to 8.000 particles moving in flocks over the surface of a globe.
The key visual on the cover of Schunks employee magazine “Schunk Report”.
The key visual is used for various print products, signage and digital media.
Triangular shapes were used on the invitation card.
The tool for generating images: appearance and physical behavior of the shapes can be tuned to match the specific use.
By changing the number of corners the shapes transform from triangles into circles.
Another slider controls the extrusion of the shapes .
Variations of the key visual can be created with very few clicks.
Constant movement of the particles enables infinite unique images.
