Set design
These are the drawings of my first work for Dante Ferretti, as a set designer assistant.
The Opera is The MaskBall (un Ballo in Maschera) of Giuseppe Verdi.
All the sets are pictured in the American age of immigrations,  in the "gangs of New York" style. The first drawing is the atrium of the palace, in american neoclassical style,  the second is the Backstreet ,with a tavern of the gipsies, the third is the Cove of the gipsies, located in a steam boiler room, down the derelict basement. The fourth drawing is the Ballroom,  located in a crystal palace, looking the Expo universal, with a iron cast structure on the ceiling.
