4 Seasons - Japanese Maple

Early Spring 2013, unusually cold and blustery weather...
then the leaves start to unfurl in the rare sunlight.
Image 2 - later in April 2013. The leaves are unfurled.
It's important and enjoyable to see the same things in different views, at different times of the day and/or year - what changes. what stays the same. A photographic documentary of sorts. This tree is rich with color, contrast and life.
This closeup was taken early May 2013.
In June, the leaves have been completely unfurled and grown.
Bright sunlight filters through them, as though they are on fire.
This tree has branches that hang down to the ground.
A lovely contrast with the green grass (and tiny blue flowers in the grass).
Okay, this is not the same tree. But it's the neighboring tree and beautiful with a more-grown-up presence. A radiating view at its core.
First light snow - late Autumn, 2013.
Winter snow under the tree.
The leaves are quite brown, and drying out.
A couple of bunny rabbits visited during the night.
