When not on night shift in the local hospital's ER, Dr. Jacob Porstmann is helping his patients with a special type of therapy: polarity therapy. Polarity therapy is based on the idea that a person's health and well-being are determined by the natural flow of energy through the body. Polarity refers to the positive and negative charges of the body's electromagnetic energy field. Practitioners use touch, movement, discussions and other methods to help this energy flow.
