Anne Marit Brenden's profile

Kreftregisteret, website

The Cancer Registry collects data and prepares statistics on cancer incidence in Norway, and also has extensive research activity. The Cancer Registry was established in 1951 and is one of the oldest national cancer registries in the world. This, combined with the unique personal identification system we have in Norway, means that the Cancer Registry's material, also in an international perspective, is particularly well suited to establishing new knowledge through research, and disseminating knowledge about cancer disease.

The Norwegian Cancer Registry needed to modernize their webside to present research and statistics in a better way. The solution had to be a responsive solution, to support accessibility requirements and have a modern and user-friendly expression.

Technically, we created an entirely new Episerver site from scratch on the basis of the content structure in the old site. Design-wise, we updated the colour palette from old-fashioned expression to a fresher palette that is more in line with the health sector. We designed a solution with more use of images which was a great wish from the client.
