The Task
We were approached by Cobb International to help design their newest version of the world famous Cobb Cooker. The new Cobb was to provide the user with a unique Cobb experience, and become a lifestyle product. This upmarket version should not only visually improve on the existing Cobb, but also increase functionality and usability.

The Outcome
The Cobb Elite was designed around the existing internal components, maintaining functionality. Aesthetically the form has been refined into a simplistic, elegant form that has incorporated Scandinavian design cues. Together with refined form, my Cobb offers a lock-on lid system and universal mounting point for a stand and marine kit. It also minimises material usage and addresses issues relating to packaging for transportation.
