The idea behind this project is that "Laughter is the best medicine". My demographic is the every day worker in an office or a work environment. Taken from my own experience of working full time in an office, I knew that no matter how trivial or novelty, any promotional gift provides amusement in the work environment, even if only momentary. Therefore I have designed packaging for laughter, based on medical packaging of pills or painkillers. There are 3 different packaging designs, highlighting the 3 main benefits of laughter - physical benfits, mental benefits and social benefits. Inside each box is are several items for the user to use as pranks around the office and create humour. For example, the confectionary included inside the box turns the users tongue and mouth the colour of the sweet. For the company that distributes the product I also created the name 'The Laughter Pharmacy' and designed a logo.
