The word that we chose to be the theme for the week was "favorite", so I decided to draw my favorite animal, wearing my favorite color of sunglasses, my favorite pattern (polka dots), doing my favorite activity for the summer, getting tan in the sun. To make it more fun I decided to name each part of the drawing and put a price on it.
I started up making it more an analogous color scheme, however I realized that the values of the chair and the pig were too similar. I decided to change the values and the colors to make clear that the pig is the focal point. I also did some minor changes like the color of the glasses and the scissors around the edge.
