The Animamix Biennale has been held in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Taipei since 2007, showcasing contemporary art under the influence of the unique aesthetics and culture of animation and comics. After their first participation in the biennale in 2013-14, City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre will join hands again in 2015-16 to present an exhibition. Shanghai and Daegu, Korea will also participate in the event.
